<br />Powers Board, of the Train Authority and Mayor Foust was reappointed as the <br />Chair of the Transportation Authority. Council Member Howard commented on a <br />request from CICAG for Council to nominate for consideration by the CICAG Board <br />an elected official to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee. Council Member Bain <br />expressed an interest in being nominated. <br /> <br />Mayor Foust thanked Deputy City Clerk Dora Wong for all her work and dedication. <br /> <br />c. New General Plan Update (Oral update) <br /> <br />Interim City Manager Ingram announced the upcoming Kick-Off General Plan <br />meeting on January 30, 2008. Mr. Ingram said that the scope and the timeline are <br />being carefully reviewed by staff. Council discussed finding creative ways to <br />announce this event. Mr. Ingram said that staff will use a variety of tools to reach all <br />stakeholders. A suggestion was made to send a letter to all Boards, Commissions, <br />and Committees and the Downtown Group as well. <br /> <br />10.
