The local public improvements proposed to be maintained <br />and operated are shown on Exhibit "A-3" hereof entitled, "Redwood <br />Shores Landscape Maintenance District No. 1995-1, Areas of Public <br />Improvement Requiring Landscape Maintenance", and more <br />particularly described on Exhibit "C" hereof entitled, "General <br />Description of Improvements and Required Maintenance - Redwood <br />Shores Landscape Maintenance District No. 1995-1", which Exhibits <br />are attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 6. The costs and expenses of maintaining and operating <br />said local public improvements shall be financed from funds <br />raised by the levy of annual benefit assessments chargeable <br />against the lots or parcels of property within the boundaries of <br />the District. The City Manager is hereby directed to cause to be <br />prepared annually a budget for the costs and expenses of <br />maintaining and operating any or all of said improvements during <br />the ensuing fiscal year. <br /> <br /> 7. This Council hereby declares that all public streets <br />and highways within said District in use or to be used in the <br />performance of a public function, and all lands owned by the <br />United States, the State of California, and any other local <br />governmental agency, or any departments thereof, shall be omitted <br />from the annual benefit assessments hereafter to be made to cover <br />the costs and expenses of maintenance and operation. <br /> <br /> 8. Monday, the llth day of December, 1995, at the hour of <br />7:30 o'clock, p.m., in the regular meeting place of said Council, <br />at 401 Marshall Street, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood <br />City, California, shall be, and the same are hereby appointed and <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
