EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will provide on-call current and long range professional planning services to <br />the City of Redwood City under the direction of the Community Development and <br />Transportation Director or their designee. Consultant will provide planning staff required <br />to provide project management for large, complex planning projects. The consultant <br />planning staff or team assigned will process planning entitlements, long-range planning <br />project and master planning efforts for the purpose of processing large, complex projects, <br />which could require further study, analysis and outreach as may be normally required for <br />planning entitlements. Duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />Respond to phone and/or email inquiries <br />Review development proposals and work with developers <br />Prepare support materials for staff reports and graphic displays <br />Analyze projects and prepare initial studies and environmental <br />documents <br />Confer with and advise applicants regarding City development policies <br />and standards <br />Provide project management for large, complex planning projects <br />Plan, organize, and coordinate aspects of the City's planning function, <br />including program planning, setting priorities, and scheduling projects <br />Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely submittal of reports and <br />analyses prepared by staff planners for various boards or commissions <br />Process planning entitlements and long-range planning projects, <br />including but not limited to general plan and zoning code amendments, <br />planned community permits, architectural permits, conditional use <br />permits, etc. <br />Provide guidance to City CEQA consultants for the preparation of <br />complex environmental review, including Addendums, Mitigated <br />Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports <br />Prepare CEQA support documents if requested. The Consultant will also <br />provide other planning staff for supplemental support as needed <br />Make presentations before the City Council, committees, community <br />groups, boards, commissions and other governmental bodies as <br />required <br />The City will issue Consultant a Task Order to proceed for each specific assignment which <br />the City's Principal Planner or their designee shall assign to an appropriately experienced <br />planner. Consultant will notify the City who has been assigned to the project for <br />acceptance by the City. <br />City will pay Consultant on a time (hourly) and materials basis a total not -to -exceed <br />amount of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) for the completion of all the <br />REV: 11-06-19 PR <br />
