EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Vera Avenue Bicycle Boulevard project is a traffic calming project to prioritize bicycle <br />travel. The project is in two segments: EI Camino Real to Red Morton Park/King Road <br />and Red Morton Park/Valota Road to Alameda de las Pulgas. The below scope of work <br />is for engineering design, community outreach support, construction support and post - <br />construction evaluation for the project. <br />TASK 1: PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION <br />To ensure this project runs as smoothly as possible, stays on the schedule, and results <br />in community support for a preferred design, consultant shall develop a project <br />management approach tailored to the unique needs of this project. <br />The project management approach shall include ongoing management of all project <br />tasks, coordination with City staff and other entities, and preparation of monthly progress <br />reports. <br />Consultant shall apply Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program to control the <br />quality of deliverables. <br />KICKOFF MEETING <br />Consultant shall prepare for, attend, and document an action items list for the kickoff <br />meeting with City staff. The kickoff meeting shall focus on project goals; review existing <br />project materials, planned and ongoing projects within the area which may impact the <br />project; assess data needs for the design, approach for a cohesive before/after evaluation <br />strategy; project schedule. Prior to the meeting, consultant and the Redwood City project <br />manager will identify a list of agency staff whose involvement is necessary for project <br />success. Consultant shall review available data prior to the meeting, identify potential <br />gaps in the data, and share the findings at the kick-off meeting. City will send any available <br />data to the consultant prior to the kickoff meeting. <br />Consultant shall also determine the most appropriate data -sharing platform for the project <br />(e.g., Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint, etc.). <br />CHECK -INS <br />Consultant project manager and the city project manager shall participate in bi-weekly <br />check-in meetings, primarily via phone or conferencing software. Occasionally and to <br />review major deliverables, the check-in meetings may happen in-person The check-in <br />meetings shall take place over the course of the project, including through the post - <br />construction evaluation task.
