Task 3- PDM Application Assistance <br />Refine Alternative to Increase Benefit Cost (BC) Ratio (one iteration) <br />• Wood Rodgers will qualitatively assess the BCA using the pump station operations <br />scenario above, and if it is determined that the BCA will likely be low, Consultant will <br />reflect the scenarios above with the assumption of no flooding from Redwood Creek. <br />This isolation of the problem may lead to a higher BCA and can be explained to FEMA <br />as such. <br />Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) <br />• Develop a BCA consistent with the grant funding requirements for the application. <br />Post Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Application Assistance <br />• Provide assistance with the grant funding application. <br />• Use the analysis and the BCA developed under Task 1 to fill out all relevant sections <br />of the Post Disaster Mitigation (PDM) application. <br />• Deliver and use their expertise to provide an application attractive to the funding <br />authorities. <br />• Complete the FEMA -mandated benefit -cost analyses using the FEMA's latest <br />version of Benefit -Cost <br />• Provide Benefit -Cost Analysis Narrative Report documenting the benefit -cost <br />analysis approach, assumptions, and data inputs. <br />• Provide FEMA Benefit -Cost Analysis Report, exported from the FEMA BCA <br />software. <br />• Provide FEMA BCA Export File from the FEMA BCA software. <br />Schedule <br />The FEMA grant application submission is due on January 31, 2020. The Consultant <br />shall deliver the final Benefit -Cost Software output prior to the grant application <br />submission due date. The anticipated Funding Selection date is on June1, 2020. The <br />anticipated award date is on December 30, 2020. <br />Cost <br />The breakdown of the level of effort for Consultant is as follows: <br />Principal Engineer II — 12 hours @ $270/hr. _ <br />$3,240.00 <br />Associate Engineer —16 hours @ $220/hr. _ <br />$3,520.00 <br />Associate Engineer ---- 2 hours @ $200 = <br />$400.00 <br />Engineer II -------------- 46 hours @ 175/hr. _ <br />$8,050.00 <br />Cad Technician III ----- 6 hours @ 160/hr.= <br />9$ 60.00 <br />TOTAL <br />$16,170.00 <br />Total not -to -exceed limit on a time and materials basis: $16,170.00.
