6.E. - Page 26 of 44 <br />in determining whether the Proposer understands the project, whether the costs are fair and <br />reasonable in light of the services to be provided, and provides City staff with tools to negotiate the <br />final cost. <br />The Contractor acknowledges that by submitting a proposal, the Contractor's proposed pricing is <br />bound for 90 days after the Proposal Submittal Deadline. <br />Proposers should ensure that the following minimum information is included in Attachment A. It is <br />expected that material, hardware, and software costs will be passed onto the City at the purchase <br />price, with a copy of the purchase receipt for reimbursement. In the event the Proposer charges an <br />additional fee or markup cost on materials, hardware or software such charges shall be listed in <br />Attachment A. The City will not honor any additional charges that are not specified in Attachment <br />A. <br />Proposers should include the following minimum information in Attachment A of the proposal: <br />■ Proposer' s hourly labor rate schedule (specify hourly rate for each position); <br />■ Mileage rate; <br />■ Travel time and rate; <br />■ If there is a minimum charge per service call; <br />■ Additional/ mark- up fees on materials, hardware, or software; <br />■ If there are any surcharges for emergency calls, second trips, or weekend/ after hour calls. <br />SECTION VII. TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />A. City's Standard Terms and Conditions <br />The terms and conditions set forth in Attachment D - Sample General Services Agreement will apply <br />to any contract resulting from this RFP. <br />B. Pricing <br />Pricing shall remain firm throughout the first year term of the contract. At the end of the initial <br />contract term and each contract anniversary date thereafter for the duration of the contract, prices <br />may, upon Contractor or City request, be increased or decreased. Any price increases will be tied <br />to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and approved at the discretion of the City. If accepted, the price <br />increase will remain firm throughout the subsequent one-year period. In the event prices are <br />reduced, the reduced price shall apply to all subsequent purchases following the date of the price <br />decrease through to the following contract anniversary date. The Contractor shall submit to the <br />City a revised unit price schedule and supporting CPI information for any requested changes. <br />SECTION VIII.
