DES:djk ~q/29/95 (027/41) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 10/9/95 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N O. 12618 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION <br /> OF FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase and <br />installation of furniture and accessories at the Red Morton <br />Community Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication four bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Space Designs, Inc. of Mountain View, and Advent <br />Office Furniture of Santa Rosa, California are the lowest <br />responsible bidders and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to accept the bids thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Space Designs, Inc., in the total amount of <br />Eighty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty and 02/100 Dollars <br />($87,740.02), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated August 30, 1995 for the sale of bid items !, 4 through 7, 9 <br />through 11, 14, 15, 17 through 27, 30, and 34 through 55 and the <br />bid of Advent Office Furniture, in the total amount of Eighteen <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Fifteen and 61/100 Dollars ($18,715.61), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated August <br />29, 1995 for the sale of bid items 2, 3, 8, 12, 13, 16, 28, 29, <br /> <br /> <br />
