REV: 02-03-22 RL <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Consultant will provide the following Services: <br />Honor the experiences and engage the leadership of people and groups most impacted. <br />Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) <br />o Spearhead the creation and facilitation of Employee Resource Groups for self- <br />identified Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC), white people, <br />women, LGBTQ people, people with disabilities, and/or other subgroup <br />populations of employees. <br />Convene ERGs and serve as lead facilitator <br />Facilitate 5 sessions per month <br />Evaluation plan <br />Support expansion of ERGs <br />Departmental Listening Sessions <br />o Lead Listening Sessions for specific Redwood City Departments in order to hear <br />directly from staff about their perspectives and experiences with diversity, equity, <br />and inclusion in their workplaces. <br />Facilitate departmental Listening Sessions <br />Create reports for city leaders about the qualitative data gathered <br />Grow institutional capability and resilience to support an inclusive workplace. <br />Foundational Equity Training <br />o Support the delivery of foundational equity training to all city staff. <br />Collaboratively update a plan for continual, comprehensive, and <br />coordinated professional development for city employees <br />Facilitate, deliver, and/or support updated DEI training for staff <br />Interventions for Resilience-Building and Stress Reduction <br />o Lead stress reduction and resilience-building for BIPOC staff members fatigued by <br />facing oppression and non-BIPOC people who have not yet built up the stamina <br />for the racialized discomfort that is needed for change to occur. <br />Within other professional development/training contexts, facilitate the <br />building of tools for handling discomfort, fatigue, and burnout <br />Offer classes and workshops in mindfulness and nervous system calming, <br />as well as guided meditation and training embedded in city meetings <br />Interdepartmental DEI Committee <br />o Support the reimagining of an interdepartmental DEI Committee to steward and <br />support citywide DEI efforts. <br />Partner with city leaders to plan and co-facilitate committee meetings <br />ATTY/AGR.2022 - Amend.
