LETTER OF AGREEMENT <br />Rhonda Leipelt, President <br />Redwood City Police Officers Association <br />Redwood City, California <br />Dear Ms. Leipelt: <br />During negotiations between the City of Redwood City and the Redwood City Police <br />Officers Association (RCPOA) for a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) 1999- <br />2001, an agreement was reached to make changes to premium pay and 2 -tier bilingual <br />pay effective September 1, 2000. The September 1, 2000 effective date was noted in the <br />signed tentative agreements and in the staff report to City Council, however it was <br />omitted from the actual MOU. Due to this omission changes to premium pay were <br />processed effective September 1, 1999 in error. <br />This side letter of agreement is to clarify this language omission and to acknowledge that <br />the City of Redwood City and the RCPOA have met and discussed this issue and have <br />come to the following understanding: <br />1. The City will immediately stop the increase in the premium pay. <br />2. The City will make payback arrangements with POA members who have received <br />this pay in error. <br />3.
