Ord (503) 2473 <br />Community Development and Transportation Director Mark Muenzer made a <br />presentation. <br />Vice Mayor Howard opened the Public Hearing. <br />There was no public comment. <br />Motion and second, Masur and Aguirre, to close the public hearing passes <br />unanimously by voice vote; Mayor Bain is absent. <br />Motion and second, Hale and Aguirre, to waive second reading adopt <br />ordinances as presented passes 6-0 by electronic vote; Mayor Bain is absent. <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Hold Public Hearing and receive public comment; <br />2. Waive second reading and adopt: <br />a. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br />Repealing Article II of Chapter 12 of the Redwood City Municipal Code <br />and Adopting a New Article II of Chapter 12 of the Redwood City <br />Municipal Code Adopting the 2018 International Fire Code along with <br />the 2019 Edition of the California Fire Code, as Published by the <br />California Building Standards Commission and the International Code <br />Council; <br />b. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br />Repealing Articles IV, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X of Chapter 9 of the Redwood <br />City Municipal Code and Adopting New Articles IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X <br />of Chapter 9 of the Redwood City Municipal Code Adopting Title 24, <br />Parts 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 11 of the California Code of Regulations, <br />namely the 2019 California Building (all chapters, including Chapter 1, <br />Divisionl and Division II), Residential, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, <br />Energy, Historical Building, Existing Building, and Green Building <br />Standards codes, as adopted by the California Building Standards <br />Commission, together with certain amendments, exceptions, <br />modifications and additions thereto, and the 2018 International <br />Property Maintenance Code; <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />
