6.E. - Page 1 of 70 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />\:3aAW <br />DATE: February 10, 2020 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment #2 to professional services agreement with AECOM for environmental consulting services for <br />the South Main Mixed -Use Project at 1601 EI Camino Real (Greystar) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute amendment #2 to the environmental <br />consulting services agreement with AECOM for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report in <br />accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the South Main Mixed -Use Project <br />at 1601 EI Camino Real and 1304 EI Camino Real (Greystar) in the amount of $131,809, for a total amount <br />not to exceed $1,054,059. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Communication and Community Building <br />BACKGROUND <br />On November 19, 2018, the City Council authorized the contract with AECOM (consultant) for the <br />preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) in accordance with the California Environmental <br />Quality Act for the South Main Mixed -Use Project at 1601 EI Camino Real (project) in the total amount of <br />$482,548. On August 19, 2019, the City processed an amendment (#1) of $439,702 for a total of $922,250. <br />Amendment #1 addressed the expanded project scope, which included the additional site located at 1304 <br />EI Camino Real (labeled F) which increased the total number of residential units.
