DES:rg 08/22/95 (056/40) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/28/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12598 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> INITIATING EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS FOR THE <br /> ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE <br /> VICINITY OF THE INTERSECTION OF EGRET LANE AND REDWOOD <br /> SHORES PARKWAY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> (EGRET LANE/SANDPIPER PARK PARCELS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience and necessity <br />require the acquisition of (i) a fee simple interest in that <br />certain real property described as Lot 8, Sandpiper <br />Subdivision Unit No. 2 (also designated by Assessor's Parcel <br />No. ["APN"] 095-291-070), hereinafter called the "Egret Lane <br />Parcel" and (ii) the deletion of the reversionary interest <br />(i.e., the condition that the property be used for park purposes, <br />only) in that certain real property described as Lot 7, Sandpiper <br />Subdivision Unit No. 2 (APN 095-291-060) and Lot 1, Lakeside <br />Subdivision Unit No. 1 (APN 095-341-010), hereinafter <br />collectively called the "Sandpiper Park Parcels"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Egret Lane Parcel is more particularly <br />described in Exhibit A-1 and depicted in Exhibit A-2 hereof <br />and the Sandpiper Park Parcels are more particularly <br />described in Exhibit B-1 and depicted in Exhibit B-2 hereof, <br />which Exhibits are by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the public use for which the property <br />interests hereinabove described are to be acquired is the <br />acquisition, construction, maintenance, and operation of a <br /> <br /> <br />
