Adopt a resolution approving and authorizing the Mayor to execute the fourth amendment to the <br />employment agreement for the City Manager to provide for adjustment to salary; <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving and authorizing the Mayor to execute the third amendment to the <br />employment agreement for the City Attorney to provide for adjustment to salary; and <br />3. Adopt a resolution amending the City's Classification and Salary Plan to update the salary ranges for the <br />City Attorney and City Manager. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City strives to maintain a compensation structure that provides salaries and benefits that are <br />competitive within the labor market to attract and retain highly qualified employees. Salaries and benefits <br />for the Council -appointed positions, including the City Manager and City Attorney, are reviewed by the <br />City Council on an annual basis, concurrently with the time of the employee's annual performance <br />evaluation.
