Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act <br />(Stafford Act), eligible emergency protective measures taken to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic at the <br />direction of guidance of public health officials may be reimbursed under Category B of the Federal <br />Emergency Management Association's (FEMA) Public Assistance Program. <br />The resolution attached is one of the three documents required to apply for Assistance, and designates <br />the officials who will act on the City's behalf in submitting for reimbursements. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Federal funding is available to State, tribal, and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit <br />organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency protective measures, including, but not limited to: <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore <br />117 <br />
