6.H. - Page 2 of 5 <br />1. Management, control, and reduction of immediate threats to public health and safety: <br />a. Emergency Operation Center costs; <br />b. Training specific to the declared event; <br />c. Disinfection of eligible public facilities; and <br />d. Technical assistance on emergency management and control of immediate threats to <br />public health and safety. <br />2. Emergency medical care; <br />3. Purchase and distribution of food, water, ice, medicine, and other consumable supplies, including <br />personal protective equipment (PPE) and hazardous material suits; <br />4. Security and law enforcement; <br />5. Communications of general health and safety information to the public; and <br />6. Eligible overtime costs. <br />If the City qualifies for reimbursement of COVID-19 emergency protective measures costs incurred during <br />the period beginning March 12, 2020, then a Designation of Applicant's Agent Resolution for Non -State <br />Agencies is required to be eligible to receive funding. <br />Further, this resolution will be valid for three years from the date signed and would allow the City to seek <br />cost recovery for eligible disaster expenses incurred by any future Declared Disasters during this three- <br />year period. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Though the action of approving the Designation of Applicant's Agent Resolution for Non -State Agencies <br />has no direct impact to the City's budget, reimbursement of costs incurred by the City for its efforts toward <br />emergency protective measures from the COVID-19 pandemic will potentially provide some relief from <br />the financial impact to the City for responding to the pandemic. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore <br />118 <br />
