From: Todd Trundle
To: PublicComment
Subject: Slow Streets Program
Date: Friday, April 24, 2020 6:19:15 PM
I oppose this program for several reasons.
The first being the cost to set up and then maintain. Use our tax dollars in a better way. How about PPE, food,
cleaning products for those in need.
The second is that it's not necessary. People and vehicles can get along on the streets without closing them to all
traffic...... there just aren't that many people on any given street at the same time. If there are, it's soon clear because
they're moving!
The third is the timing ..... 4 weeks ago maybe it would have made sense to start this project but now? By the time
it's fully up and running the SIP may be lifted or close to it.
