From: Zoe Crowder
To: PublicComment
Subject: Make Bridge Parkway pedestrian bridge one-way during COVID-19?
Date: Monday, April 27, 2020 9:07:59 AM
Hello -
I would like to support the idea of making each side of the pedestrian bridge on Bridge
Parkway in Redwood Shores one-way until the social distancing restrictions are lifted. The
walkway is not 6 ft in width, so it makes it impossible to pass safely currently. And because it
is curved, you can't see if someone is on the walkway until it's too late.
This seems simple to change (hopefully), and something that will not cause huge
inconvenience for residents. And will increase safety and compliance. A win-win!
Thank you for your consideration.
Regards,
Zoe Crowder
238 Shorebird Circle
Redwood Shores
