I am a social worker in Redwood City and told people on Next <br />Door I can help them. At least five people have reached out. They don't know where to go for food banks, rental <br />assistance, or informal volunteer networks that can help. <br />There needs to be clearly shared information coming from our city government about what resources people can <br />turn to. <br />This information needs to get to the most vulnerable people who don't use internet, don't have cars, and speak a <br />language other than English. <br />People are afraid to access some resources because they are unnecessarily afraid of Public Charge implications. <br />The government needs to take responsibility to provide Accurate information about where people can go and who <br />they can trust for help <br />Thank you, <br />Kelly Younger, MSW <br />
