The <br />ARC was not against metal roofs in residential areas, especially in light of green <br />building applications, but they expressed the importance of architectural style, form, <br />scale/massing, color, non-reflectivity (glare) and other important contextual and <br />architectural details. <br /> <br />CONSENT:NA <br /> <br />REGULAR: <br />1. 3201 Oak Knoll (Snap Fitness) <br />Approved with conditions. MIS Gilmanl Raymundo/ 5-0 <br />· Remove ''fasC convenienC affordable/from main wall sign <br />· Blade pole should match other poles in style/ material and color or match fascia <br />color. <br /> <br />2. 365 Blomquist Street (Granite Rock): <br />Conceptually approved subject to second ARC review. MIS Gilmanl Raymundo/ 5-0 <br />· Focus landscaping along streetscape (i.e. install street trees) <br />· Bring back landscape plan and colors for ;Z'd review <br />· Remove stone building base/ instead use low wall near streetscape/ if desired. <br /> <br />3. 510 Veterans Boulevard B (A-Active Sign Co. {Dori}} <br />Rework and resubmit for second ARC review. MIS Gilmanl Raymundo/ 5-0 <br />Wall sign: <br />· Reduce size, integrate sign better into building with higher quality <br />materials and bring back photo montage <br />Monument sign: <br />· Reduce size and length to 3.5 to 4 feet in width and provide proportionate <br />height, separate words, center and better integrate sign with AAA sign <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Adjourn to the next regular ARC meeting at 7:00 AM in the Council Chambers on <br />August 28, 2007. <br />
