Attachment 3 - Project Timeline

~ In the first six months of the Early Entry Shelter Pilot Program, the Fair Oaks
Community Center was able to assist 148 unduplicated single homeless adults to
access shelter services in San Mateo County. This includes individuals who
accessed shelter via EESP and individuals who accessed shelter without EESP.
This is an increase of 83% over the same time period for the previous year. Based
on our many years of experience, this signific<iHt increase would not have been
possible without the EESP pilot program.
~ Second year of a two-year pilot project which provIdes additional Information and
Referral Program staffing through the hiring of an Americorp Intern for 10
months of the year. This model has demonstrated the viability of expanding
service capacity in this manner and is what made it possible for the Fair Oaks
Community Center to devote approximately half the time of a Human Services
Specialist II to the Early Entry Shelter Program.

6.2A
Page 16
