The ordinance amendment will enhance operating <br />efficiency, clarify purchasing requirements, allow design -build contracting, and establish a local business <br />purchasing preference. If adopted, this Ordinance will take effect 30 days after this action (June 3, 2020). <br />ANALYSIS <br />As a charter city, Redwood City may set forth its own rules for public bidding.
