The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m. <br />CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING <br />Monday, April 6, 2020 <br />7:00 PM <br />1. CALL TO ORDER— Mayor Howard called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />2. ROLL CALL — All Council members were present. <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Council Member Borgens led the pledge of allegiance. <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The City Clerk read public comments received from the following members of the <br />public into the record: <br />• William Colocho <br />• Tom Gumbrecht <br />S. STAFF REPORTS <br />S.A. Preliminary assessment of financial impacts associated with COVID-19 on City <br />of Redwood City operating and capital budgets, revised approach for <br />developing Fiscal Year 2020-21 Operating Budget, update on actions to <br />support redwood city residents and businesses impacted by COVID-19 and <br />consideration of multiple actions including $393,000 appropriation to the <br />Emergency Rental Assistance Fund and $300,000 appropriation to the San <br />Mateo County Strong Fund to support small business relief efforts <br />(205) MO 20-046 <br />City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz presented the item. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
