6.1. - Page 34 of 82 <br />Section V. Excluded Services <br />1. This Agreement does not include any of the following: <br />Attachment 2 <br />Contractor shall be solely responsible for maintaining the below items. Money <br />for all repairs and costs will come from the Contract Funds. Any such items <br />undertaken by Contractor shall be documented and all invoices for any such <br />work, shall be kept and provided to County on a quarterly basis. For major <br />equipment owned by the County (as listed in subsection (d) below, and any <br />similar equipment), Contractor shall use a reputable, qualified, and licensed <br />contractor or vendor, and may not use its own employees or volunteers for <br />such work without County approval. If employees or volunteers are used for <br />work, no additional County funds shall be used for such labor, except those <br />funds otherwise used to pay the employee's regular salary. Contractor agrees <br />that all major equipment owned by the County (as listed in subsection (d) <br />below, and any similar equipment) will be serviced by a qualified vendor. <br />a. Light bulb replacement to include lamps and ballast <br />b. Plumbing clogs: Contractor will first attempt to unclog and if unsuccessful will <br />submit a request to Facilities Services for repair. (Contractor may not hire a <br />service to attempt to unclog pipes.) <br />c. Equipment maintenance and repair as follows: <br />■ Washers/dryers <br />■ Kennel cleaning equipment <br />■ Safes, lock boxes <br />■ Clippers <br />■ Surgical tables <br />■ Audio visual equipment camera, security and intrusion alarms <br />■ Computers/printers/scanners etc. and phone system <br />■ Cash Registers/credit card machines, fax machine etc. <br />■ Any other specialty equipment for animal sheltering <br />d. These items must be repaired by a qualified vendor <br />■ X-ray equipment <br />■ Anesthetic machine <br />■ Surgical lights <br />■ Auto clave <br />e. Kennel fencing repairs, to include the replacement of mud flaps or guillotine <br />doors, door latches etc. (if CMU needs repair, the Contractor will submit a <br />repair request to the Manager of Animal Control and Licensing for approval <br />prior to contacting Facilities Services) <br />f.
