6.J. - Page 18 of 18 EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Scope of Services Consultant shall provide comprehensive recruitment services for an Executive Director of Redwood City 2020 Comprehensive Executive Level Recruitment Consultant's services will include the following for the executive level recruitment, and will be based upon the needs of the City: Phase 1' Discovery • Compensation study and recommendations • Job description development • Detailed process map to highlight stages, timeline, and roles Phase 2: Search • Sourcing via Linked/n, websites, strategic outreach, referrals, etc • Phone screening of all candidates meeting minimum qualifications • Presentation of a minimum of six qualified candidates Phase 3: Decision • Development of candidate memos and profiles • Facilitated candidate review and debrief • Reference and background checks or defer to existing policies Phase 4: Onboarding (City Manager, at her sole discretion, may opt to have Consultant perform Phase 4 services listed below.) • Onboarding plan • Up to 12 hours of executive coaching and onhoardfng Fee Schedule City will pay Consultant a fiat fee of $30,000 for all services outlined in Phases 1, 2, and 3 above ("Search Fee"). If Consultant performs the services outlined in Phase 4 above, City will pay Consultant an additional fiat fee of $3,500, for a total not to exceed contract price of $33,500. The fee will be invoiced on the following schedule: 50% of Search Fee due upon contract execution ($15,000) • 50% of Search Fee due when applicant offer letter is signed ($15,000) • 100% of onboardinglcoaching fee due when onboarding process begins ($3,500) The flat fees are inclusive of all advertising fees and local travel -related costs for the Consultant's team.
