<br />01/28/2008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130-343 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 12 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, <br />TO PREZONE THE PROPERTIES AT 343,357,367, AND 375 ALAMEDA <br />DE LAS PULGAS ROAD, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS <br />ORDINANCE, FROM THE EXISTING COUNTY ZONING DESIGNATION <br />OF "R-1/S7" (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY WITH S7 DEVELOPMENT <br />CRITERIA) ZONING DISTRICT TO THE REDWOOD CITY "R-1" <br />(RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY) ZONING DISTRICT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on October 24, 2006, the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City found the proposed prezoning of the <br />properties at 343, 357, 367, and 375 Alameda de las Pulgas Road (respectively, <br />Assessor Parcel Nos. 058-252-010, -020, -030, and -040) from the existing County <br />zoning designation of "R-1/S7" (Residential Single-Family with S7 Development Criteria) <br />Zoning District to the Redwood City "R-1" (Residential Single-Family) Zoning District to <br />be in the public interest; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on October 24, 2006, the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City recommended to the City Council of <br />the City of Redwood City ("City Council" or "Council") the prezoning of the properties at <br />343, 357, 367, and 375 Alameda de las Pulgas Road from the existing County zoning <br />designation of "R-1/S7" Zoning District to the Redwood City "R-1" (Residential Single- <br />Family) Zoning District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having reviewed the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public hearing duly <br />noticed and held for said proposed prezoning, finds that the proposed prezoning is in <br />the public interest and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood City Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
