Urgency ordinance approving zoning text amendments to Accessory Dwelling <br />Unit (ADU) requirements in the Zoning Ordinance and other miscellaneous <br />updates, including permitted ADU types allowed, side and rear setbacks, <br />height for detached ADUs, and to comply with State law <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt, by a vote of at least six City Council Members, an urgency ordinance <br />approving Zoning Ordinance amendments related to ADUs to comply with State <br />law and other miscellaneous amendments. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />7.13. Application for Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) funding to support <br />affordable housing initiatives including the City's Safe Parking Program <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution approving and adopting the Five -Year Permanent Local <br />Housing Allocation (PLHA) Plan for the 2019-2023 Funding Period; authorizing <br />and directing the City to receive the PLHA grant in an amount not to exceed <br />$2,086,314; and authorizing the City Manager or her designee to execute the <br />PLHA Program Application, any subsequent amendments or modifications, and <br />other necessary documents. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />7.C.
