Adoption of the 2006 International Fire Code and Local Amendments. <br /> Fire Administrative Chief/Fire Marshall Vella stated the recommendation before the <br /> Council and gave the background. He stated his thanks and appreciation to the <br /> Board of Building Review for their input and endorsement of the recommendation <br /> for adoption. <br /> M/S Bain/Howard to: <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Introduce the fire code ordinance #or first reading on December 17, 2007 and <br /> consider the adoption of the fire code with necessary local amendments on <br /> January 14, 2008. <br /> AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICIE 11 OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; ADDING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 12 TO THE CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO �IRE PREVENTION; AND ADOPTING <br /> BY REFERENCE THE "INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, 2006 EDITION," AS PUBLISHED <br /> BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL MINUTE ORDER 07-220 <br /> The motion passed by unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br /> M/S Bain/Pierce to: <br /> 2.
