6.B. - Page 3 of 7 <br />Sewer Collection System Replacement <br />Project Fiscal Year 2019-2020 — Sewer Fund Capital Projects — Collection System Replacement Project, <br />which has an available balance of $2,251,760 as of June 30, 2020. <br />Water Distribution System Replacement Project <br />Project Fiscal Year 2019-2020 — Water Fund Capital Projects — Distribution System Replacement Project, <br />which has an available balance of $4,943,585 as of June 30, 2020. <br />Utility Encroachment Permits <br />Fiscal Year 2018-2019 — General Fund — Subdivision Engineering, which has associated cost recovery <br />deposits that are received from developers and utility companies that will be used for inspection <br />services. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because the inspection of construction projects that have themselves <br />undergone environmental review has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to amend the contract and direct staff to find alternate methods for <br />providing engineering inspection services.
