7.A. - Page 4 of 25 <br />Strategic Priorities, and to provide for increased public participation and input, consideration of proposed <br />projects will occur over three meetings. The August 10, 2020 study session will focus on projects that <br />propose predominantly housing developments. A second study session, tentatively scheduled for <br />September 21, 2020, will focus on projects that propose predominantly commercial and mixed -uses. <br />Finally, a third hearing is tentatively scheduled for October 12, 2020 for the Council to determine whether <br />or not to initiate General Plan Amendments for these any of the projects. <br />In line with Council direction, staff have provided a high-level analysis of each project. This analysis <br />includes a brief project description and an assessment of the project's response to the City Council <br />adopted Strategic Priorities of Housing, Transportation and Children and Youth. <br />Project Evaluation Criteria <br />The Redwood City Strategic Plan, adopted on January 13, 2020, provides focus for City Council decision- <br />making and City initiatives and affirmed the City Council's Strategic Priorities of Housing, Transportation <br />and Children and Youth.
