From: Susan Skelly
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Need for Write -In Period for District 4
Date: Monday, August 17, 2020 4:46:45 PM
Hello Council Members and City Staff,
I'm writing to urge you to hold a write-in period for District 4 candidates. Simply bypassing the
rights of constituents to vote in City Council races is not the way forward. We in Redwood City are
already partially disenfranchised by not being able to vote for our mayor. Simply appointing people
to CC further disenfranchises us.
I strongly recommend you vote to require a write-in candidate process to proceed.
Sincerely,
Susan Skelly
