From: Neil Ruditskv
To: GRP -City Clerk
Subject: Retail Cannabis in Redwood City
Date: Monday, August 24, 2020 12:19:12 PM
Attachments: imaae001.ona
Good Afternoon,
My name is Neil Ruditsky and I am one of the principal members of Juva, Redwood City's first
licensed cannabis delivery service. Along with the residents of Redwood City, and those that
attended the multiple public outreach sessions in Redwood City, the residents are in favor of retail
cannabis stores as the next step in Redwood City's cannabis progression. I personally attended the
public outreach public comment sessions and no opposition to retail stores was displayed.
Furthermore, the residents of RWC believe they should be located where traditional retail is located.
It is important to allow brick and mortar cannabis stores to be permitted wherever retail stores are
allowed in the city limits. Retail cannabis stores have often been pushed to industrial zones where
city sidewalks, limited parking, poor lighting and access to public transportation are not available.
The cannabis industry retailers invest tremendous capital into their retail stores to make them warm,
inviting, safe and controlled to ensure the client base feels invited and safe.
Juva, has been a member of the Downtown association in RWC, and members of the Chamber of
Commerce and has been adding value to the local community. We would like to continue our
growth in Redwood City and hope you will support retail stores in retail locations.
Regards,
Neil Ruditsky
Chief Operating Officer
831.521.1323
neil(@iuvalife.com
www.iuvaIife.com
J UVA
This message may contain information which is confidential and privileged.
