City Council appointments to the Arts Commission, Board of Building Review, <br />Board of Port Commissioners, Planning Commission, and Senior Affairs <br />Commission <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By roll call vote, appoint for the following: <br />a. Four full-term seats on the Arts Commission that will expire on May 31, <br />2024; <br />b. Three full-term seats on the Board of Building Review that will expire <br />on May 31, 2024; <br />c. Three full-term seats on the Board of Port Commissioners that will <br />expire on July 31, 2024; <br />d. Two full-term seats on the Planning Commission that will expire on June <br />30, 2024; and <br />e. Four full-term seats on the Senior Affairs Commission that will expire <br />on May 31, 2024 and one partial term seat on the Senior Affairs <br />Commission that will expire on May 31, 2022. <br />2. By motion, use the current BCC applicant pool through January 31, 2021 to fill <br />any additional vacancies. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />8. STUDY SESSIONS Page 82 <br />8.A. Study Session for consideration of General Plan Amendment Initiation Requests <br />for five separate predominantly commercial/mixed-use development projects, <br />submitted as part of the Gatekeeper Process <br />Recommendation: <br />Hold a Study Session to consider the primarily commercial projects requesting <br />consideration of a General Plan Amendment and provide feedback on the <br />proposals.
