City Council appointments to the Arts Commission, Board of Building Review, Board of Port Commissioners, Planning Commission, and Senior Affairs Commission Recommendation: 1. By roll call vote, appoint for the following: a. Four full-term seats on the Arts Commission that will expire on May 31, 2024; b. Three full-term seats on the Board of Building Review that will expire on May 31, 2024; c. Three full-term seats on the Board of Port Commissioners that will expire on July 31, 2024; d. Two full-term seats on the Planning Commission that will expire on June 30, 2024; and e. Four full-term seats on the Senior Affairs Commission that will expire on May 31, 2024 and one partial term seat on the Senior Affairs Commission that will expire on May 31, 2022. 2. By motion, use the current BCC applicant pool through January 31, 2021 to fill any additional vacancies. CEQA: This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) 8. Study Session for consideration of General Plan Amendment Initiation Requests for five separate predominantly commercial/mixed-use development projects, submitted as part of the Gatekeeper Process Recommendation: Hold a Study Session to consider the primarily commercial projects requesting consideration of a General Plan Amendment and provide feedback on the proposals. This is a Study Session and no formal action will occur at this hearing.
