From: Mary Dateo <br />To: GRP -City Council <br />Subject: Public Hearing to Adopt "All Electric" Reach Codes to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions <br />Date: Sunday, September 20, 2020 10:18:04 AM <br />Honorable Council Members, <br />We know we need to eliminate fossil -fuel burning in order to avoid climate <br />disasters. <br />Please don't allow new buildings to add more fossil -fuel -burning devices <br />that will need to be removed in the next couple of decades. So much <br />unnecessary work! <br />I have an all -electric home, and can tell you that all -electric buildings / <br />appliances are not a hardship. <br />They improve the quality of day-to-day living, and reduce the cost. <br />I drive an electric car, and can tell you that it's a treat. And it reduces the <br />cost of driving. <br />Thank you for adopting an all -electric reach code, and improving the <br />quality of life of people using your new buildings. <br />On the final vote, please continue to support the all -electric reach code. <br />Regards, <br />Mary Dateo <br />Mountain View resident <br />
