6.D. - Page 3 of 26 <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The total project budget for the Temporary RV Safe Parking Program is approximately $1.7 million for two <br />years. This includes $594,000 per year for services provided by LifeMoves. The City Council approved <br />these funds in the FY 2020-21 General Fund budget. Additionally, grant funding from the Chan Zuckerberg <br />Initiative (CZI) will be utilized to fund the Client Assistance Fund portion of the contract. No additional <br />funding is required. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public Notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council could choose not to move forward with the LifeMoves agreement and direct staff to <br />develop an alternate approach for the Temporary RV Safe Parking Program.
