4.A. - Page 58 of 98 <br />PICK <br />PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER <br />from the voluntary participants, which generally consisted of about 80% to 90% of the <br />community members' response rate that attended every evening and stayed for the whole session. <br />The Demographic Poll <br />The demographic poll consisted of four questions, (a) their relation to the city, (b) their <br />race/ethnicity, (c) their gender, and (d) their age. When asked if they " lived " in the city, the <br />people who participated in the polls and shared their relationship to Redwood City when asked if <br />they "lived" in the city were 54%. The people who "work" in the city were 9%, while the people <br />who "worked and lived" in the city were 26%. And finally, students that "go to school" in the <br />city were 9%. Only 2% of the people attending said they had no relation to the city. Therefore, <br />the community members that participated in the poll when combining the three sections that <br />overlapped with "worked" and "lived" made up 89% of the people that responded (Table 2). <br />Table 2.
