See's homeless encampment by Seaport every <br />morning on her way to work. Stability for housing. <br />• agree about housing comments. <br />• Housing has to be created for low income. The city priority has been in office for three <br />quarters. Telecommuting accommodates people with disabilities. People of color affected <br />by Covid. Not enough PPE in our community. Paid very little. Women of color under <br />paid. Repurpose commercial building for homeless solution. <br />• wants to see the city respond to Covid in the community. <br />• policing toward mental health instead of police. <br />• These dialogues are good and offering them in Spanish but are we reaching them? I get <br />the communication and connected but i don't know if we are getting everyone to that <br />forum <br />• It's easy to engage if you know the process and it's not clear if those who aren't <br />connected have access <br />• There is one strong level of resistance- not sure; there is a group of people that wants to <br />protect RWC to be the way it is and always was- no solution, <br />• The Covid environment can be an equalizer, but reaching communities outside the <br />traditional tech/govt. Question: what kind of outreach can we provide to make sure we <br />include more <br />• I appreciate and believe that the district elections were a good first step to be inclusive <br />• How do you build community - and its downtown, RW shores or at a park and that's <br />where all the white people go?
