<br />, j <br /> <br />') COpy <br /> <br />6.1C <br />Page 50 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14111 <br /> <br />\ <br />I <br />RESOLUTION RESTATING POLICY REGAI..._ . <br />DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY <br />ON LAUREL WAY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1988 this Council established a policy regarding <br /> <br />development of parcels of real property fronting on that portion of Laurel Way in <br />the City of Redwood City remaining in private ownership; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said policy provides that, prior to the development of any <br /> <br />such parcels, an area-wide environmental impact report shaU be prepared for the <br /> <br />development of all such unimproved parcels, in order to address the cumulative <br /> <br />significant effects upon the environment of development of any such parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to restate and make more specific said <br /> <br />policy; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. FindinQs. This Council hereby finds and declares as follows: <br /> <br />a. Laurel Way, as platted for subdivision prior to annexation of the <br />properties fronting thereon to the City of Redwood City, has a <br />theoretical plotted width of 50 feet. Laurel Way extends <br /> <br />approximately 1200 feet from its intersection with Highland Avenue <br /> <br />westerly and then northerly, terminating in a cul-de-sac.
