8.A. - Page 10 of 61 <br />Figure 4 outlines the Planning Division's organizational chart and the types of projects typically reviewed <br />and processed by staff. The Planning Division is currently made up of 8 full-time City staff positons (one <br />Acting Planning Manager/Principal Planner, two Principal Planners, three Senior Planners, two Assistant <br />Planners) and three vacant positions (Assistant Community Development & Transportation Director and <br />two Assistant/Associate Planner positions). In addition, the Planning Division has three consultant <br />planners that typically work 10-15 hours per week on current planning projects and staff level permits <br />(one Principal Planner, one Associate Planner, one Assistant Planner). As discussed earlier, it is envisioned <br />that senior level planners (Principal and Senior) would process any initiated projects.
