To address these worthwhile priorities it would be a missed opportunity not to include 901, 947, 999 <br />EI Camino Real and 2529 Broadway (Autozone) site to approve in the Gatekeeper process. <br />From my perspective the project is unique as: <br />1. the only project with clear youth outreach, focus and inclusion (Teen center) <br />2. located within 200 feet of both CalTrain and SanTrans (Transportation) <br />3. provides 60 units of affordable housing (paid for by less office space than other projects) <br />I know that the city staff resources are constrained, but please consider the needs of the generation of teens and youth that are currently underserved by the city infrastructure and amenities. <br />With sincerest regards, <br />Filip Cmogorac <br />Central Neighborhood Association Co -Chair <br />Redwood City, CA <br />Consideration of General Plan Amendment Initiation Requests for nine separate predominantly housing and commercial/mixed-use development prslects submitted as <br />&A. part of the Gatekeeper process <br />Recommendation: <br />Housing Projects: <br />1. Adopt a resolution denying initiation of the following housing project: <br />a. 797 Arguello Street <br />Commercial/Mixed-Use Projects: <br />1. Adopt resolutions initiating the following commercial/mixed-use projects given their strategic locations and unique community benefits and to be studied in tandem with <br />other long-range planning initiatives: <br />a. 1900 Broadway (Wells Fargo site) <br />b. 603 Jefferson, 750 Bradford (RCSD site) <br />2.
