2/26/01 <br />0RIGIP1AL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14156 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR RODENT AND <br />COCKROACH CONTROL PROGRAM (SANITARY SEWERS - <br />CREEKS — MARINA — PORT — CORP YARD) FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />2000/01; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING THE RETURN OF THE <br />SECURITY DEPOSIT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 1065, adopted January 8, 2001, <br />the City Clerk called for bids for the Rodent and Cockroach Control Program <br />(Sanitary Sewers - Creeks — Marina — Port — Corp Yard) for City of Redwood <br />City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Dewey Pest Control of San Francisco, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to said Dewey pest Control; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Dewey Pest Control, in a sum not to exceed One Hundred <br />Twenty Thousand and No /100 ($120,000.00), computed on a per unit basis, in <br />accordance with the bidder's proposal dated January 26, 2001, for "Rodent and <br />Cockroach Control Program: Sanitary Sewers - Creeks — Marina — Port — Corp <br />Yard for fiscal year 2000 -2001 in City of Redwood City is hereby accepted and <br />Reso- <br />F:Shared /Redwood /Council /Reso. <br />FXS:djk <br />
