EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE 1. Scope of Work/Tasks The services to be provided under this Agreement consist of the operation of the two-year Temporary RV Safe Parking Site (Site) located at 1402 Maple Street and operation of the Redwood City Temporary RV Safe Parking Program (Program) consisting of outreach, engagement, and case management services focused on transitioning unsheltered individuals and families living in RVs on the street to permanent housing. Theoag Is of the two-year Temporary RV Safe Parking Program (Safe Parking Program) are as follows - 0 Assisting RV residents in transitioning to permanent housing • Assisting RV residents in obtaining needed social and/or employment services to support their transition to permanent housing • Reducing/eliminating RV residency -related impacts on neighborhoods and businesses • Eliminating RV residency -related environmental and public health impacts • Reducing the costs and staff time related to RV residency -related clean-up and response to call -outs Specifically, services provided by LifeMoves will include: • Working with City officials to launch two-year Temporary RV Safe Parking Site and Program; • Conducting outreach and engagement services to unsheltered individuals and families living in RVs parked on the streets in the City; • Responding promptly to calls from the Redwood City Police Department regarding issues involving unsheltered individuals and families living in RVs parked on the streets in the City; • Promoting participation in the Safe Parking Program; • Promoting participation in the City's mitigation efforts aimed at reducing the impact of RV residency on the streets; • Conducting intake and eligibility interviews of Safe Parking Program Applicants and making recommendations to City Officials for official approval; • Providing RV Parking Permits, introduction and orientation to approved Safe Parking Program Participants; • Providing support for RV Residents with Provisional RV Parking Permit who are working to resolve barriers to meeting program criteria; • Connecting clients to the county Coordinated Entry System (CES) along with other available community services, including to primary and behavioral health care providers, housing resources, and other providers of basic needs (such as meals, REV: 09-16-2020 RL ATTY/AG R.2020.204/Life Moves (Page 12 of 14)
