EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to prepare a <br />complete UWMP for the City's Water Utility System. The 2020 UWMP update will include <br />the tasks below, plus any other the Consultant deems necessary to comply with the Urban <br />Water Management Planning Act and any related regulations or statutes. <br />1. Review of existing City documents including: <br />a. Redwood City's 2015 UWMP, Water Shortage Contingency Plan, and <br />Water Conservation Plan <br />b. Redwood City General Plan, Specific Plans, Precise Plans, and plan <br />amendments <br />c. Water Supply Assessments prepared since the adoption of the 2015 UWMP <br />2. Update information and review data utilizing the 2020 UWMP Guidebook after its <br />release <br />3. Review for inclusion in the 2020 UWMP results from the BAWSCA Regional <br />Demand and Conservation Projections Project completed in 2020 including: <br />a. Water Supply <br />b. Water Demand <br />c. Population <br />d. Conservation Measures <br />e. Other relevant data for inclusion in the 2020 UWMP <br />4. Coordinate as required with other agencies in the region including BAWSCA, <br />BAWSCA Member Agencies, SFPUC, and other agencies in order to complete the <br />2020 UWMP. <br />5. Provide updates as required to Redwood City's Water Shortage Contingency Plan <br />as adopted in 2016. <br />6. Include any changes that have been made by the California Legislature to the <br />UWMP Act. <br />7. Evaluate the potential for potable groundwater uses within the Redwood City <br />Service Area, based on information developed for the San Mateo Plain <br />Groundwater basin, the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), and <br />other publicly available information. <br />a. Include a technical memorandum to the City outlining the feasibility of <br />groundwater supply in Redwood City including analysis on water quality, <br />water treatment, regulatory concerns and conceptual capital and operating <br />costs. <br />b.
