assessments, specific plans, etc.). The following documents will be reviewed under this
task:
■ Redwood City General Plan, Specific Plans, Precise Plans, and plan amendments;
■ Water Supply Assessments prepared since the adoption of the 2015 UWMP; as
well as
■ Any other relevant information provided by BAWSCA and/or its consultant
Maddaus Water Management, and the City or the Association of Bay Area
Governments (ABAG).
Subtask 3.3 Current and Future Water Demand Estimates
City will provide Consultant with complete water use records in total and by customer
sector between 2015 and 2020, as well as information related to distribution system
losses, based on validated annual reports. Consultant will review these demand data (on
a per unit and per capita basis). The DSS model will be used for future water demand and
conservation estimates for the 2020 UWMP. Consultant will work with City staff and
BAWSCA to update assumptions and inputs to the DSS Model, if determined by the City
to be necessary.
The 2020 UWMP will describe how the demand projections incorporate land use
information, water savings from codes and standards, and climate change, as required
by CWC §10631(a), §10631(d)(4)(A), and §10631(b)(1). Current and future water
demands will be presented by customer classes, including distribution system losses, and
presented in five-year increments through 2045, and on an annual basis through 2025.
Subtask 3.4 System Water Loss Report
Consultant will incorporate five years of distribution system loss data per CWC
§10631(d)(3).
