Emergency Response Plans). Consultant will therefore summarize existing information
provided by the City in the seismic risk assessment and mitigation plan section of the
2020 UWMP.
Subtask 4.4 Conduct City Workshop #2
City Workshop #2 will include a presentation of the information identified in Task 4 and
will consist of a one- to two-hour meeting with appropriate staff as identified by the City.
During City Workshop #2, Consultant will obtain input regarding the presentation of initial
findings and guidance from the City on how to include the information in the Administrative
Draft UWMP.
Task 4 Deliverables:
■ Evaluation of compliance with SB x7-7 2020 water use target
■ Draft DMM summary
■ Updated WSCP
■ Workshop #2 agenda and minutes
Task 5 — Prepare for and Attend Workshop #3 — Water Supply Availability
Task 5 includes preparing information regarding water system supply projections into the
supply vs. demand assessment.
Subtask 5.1 Monthly and Annual Water Supply Estimates
To the extent appropriate, the 2020 UWMP will incorporate information regarding the
source, nature, and projected availability of the City's current and future water supplies
on an annual basis, in five-year increments through 2045. Consultant will rely on
information provided by the City and assess supply availability for: (1) availability and
constraints of the City's existing SFPUC allocation; (2) current and projected use of
recycled water; (3) policies that incentivize recycled water use; (4) potential use of
groundwater as a future water supply, based on information developed under Task 2; (5)
potential water quality issues and/or potential effects of water quality on management
strategies; and (6) any current or planned future water projects or water transfers.
It is noted that although not required by the regulations, DWR guidance is anticipated to
request that supply and demand reliability for the immediate next five-year period be
evaluated on a monthly basis. Thus, to the extent data are available, historical supply
information will be compiled and presented on a monthly basis, and annual supply
projections through 2025 will be presented on a monthly basis (Subtask 5.2). Projected
demands for this analysis will be converted to a monthly time -step using data on seasonal
water use derived from the DSS Model and previous City billing records. Per CWC
§10631(b)(1), UWMPs are now required to consider changes in supply due to climate
change. Consultant will incorporate information provided by SFPUC, BAWSCA, and the
REV: 10-14-2020 MI
ATTY/AGR.2020.240/EKI Environment & Water, Inc. (Page 18 of 21)
