From: P H
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Subject: Do not cut our public safety services!
Date: Sunday, October 25, 2020 6:33:21 PM
Redwood City residents strongly object to the proposed budget revisions reducing our public
safety. We voted to pass Measure RR's sales tax increase in 2018 to preserve our first
responders. Tightening our emergency responders' workforce and resources will put our
community at more significant risk, especially those already with fewer resources like
Redwood Shores. I believe it's not in Redwood City's interest to reduce our public safety,
especially our fire department, as we are currently experiencing a global pandemic and
wildfires.
Thanks,
Peter
