From: Louise Ward
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Redwood City Safety Services
Date: Sunday, October 25, 2020 6:36:10 PM
As a resident in Redwood City, I have been pleased to pay my taxes because the fire and police services have been
present and necessary.
The fire department responded to an emergency
for my husband in the past.
I would like to bring to your attention the very dry
and potentially tinder of the trees in Redwood Shores. We are experiencing uncontrolled major fires amidst a global
pandemic in California.
PG&E is cutting services because of a high fire
Index. What are the citizens to think if services
are cut when they are most needed.
It is very dangerous to cut the services of fire and
police.
Louise Ward
Redwood City, CA 94065
Sent from my iPhone
