6.D. - Page 1 of 33 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: October 26, 2020 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Stormwater Treatment Measures Maintenance Agreement and Public Access Easement - 536 Whipple <br />Avenue <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Stormwater Treatment Measures <br />Maintenance Agreement and Public Access Easement with Bucky Bear, LLC. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Economic Vitality <br />BACKGROUND <br />Bucky Bear, LLC is the owner of record of real property located at 536 Whipple Avenue and is the <br />developer responsible for the construction of all improvements on the site. The City issued Building Permit <br />B19-0530 and Encroachment Permit CP19-0161, for the tenant improvements at 536 Whipple Avenue, <br />which consisted of the reconstruction of an existing restaurant building and associated parking lot <br />improvements. The encroachment permit required the developer to make on-site and off-site <br />improvements such as grading and drainage, paving, new sewer, storm and water services, and sidewalk <br />modifications to provide an accessible path of travel across the property frontage.
