CENTER FOR <br />INDEPENDENCE <br />of Individuals with Disabilities <br />Serving San Mateo County <br />Many Redwood City adults with developmental disabilities remain at home with aging parents <br />only because of the inability to secure an affordable apartment in their home community where <br />they grew up and have formal and informal support networks.
