Of these 39 affordable apartments, HIP Housing has proposed that
eight of the apartments shall be subject to a preference for Extremely Low -Income people with
developmental disabilities who would receive coordinated services funded by the Golden Gate
Regional Center, including housing support services provided by Housing Choices.
Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities mission is to provide support services,
community awareness, and systems change advocacy to promote full and equal community
integration and participation for people with disabilities.
The affordable housing apartments proposed at 1304 EI Camino Real are urgently needed in
Redwood City, particularly by the City's residents with intellectual and developmental disabili-
ties.
