Of these 39 affordable apartments, HIP Housing has proposed that <br />eight of the apartments shall be subject to a preference for Extremely Low -Income people with <br />developmental disabilities who would receive coordinated services funded by the Golden Gate <br />Regional Center, including housing support services provided by Housing Choices. <br />Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities mission is to provide support services, <br />community awareness, and systems change advocacy to promote full and equal community <br />integration and participation for people with disabilities. <br />The affordable housing apartments proposed at 1304 EI Camino Real are urgently needed in <br />Redwood City, particularly by the City's residents with intellectual and developmental disabili- <br />ties.
