REV: 10-19-23 MI <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />I: SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant will prepare and file all of the City of Redwood City’s eligible fiscal <br />year state mandate cost reimbursement claims for which claiming <br />instructions are issued for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. In addition, Consultant <br />will prepare and document new or first-time claims, as well as claims that <br />require amendment. Consultant will: <br />1) Collect all relevant claim data and prepare and file all fiscal year <br />2022-2023 actual cost claims based on the State Controller’s <br />claiming instructions issued during fiscal each fiscal year. <br />2) Collect all relevant claim data and prepare and file newly claimable <br />programs for which the State Controller issues claiming <br />instructions during fiscal year 22-23. <br />3) Provide a minimum of one on-site visit in order to train and inform <br />City staff of appropriate data collection methods. <br />4) Provide regular project status and SB90 budget updates to the <br />City’s designated SB90 coordinator. <br />5) Provide data collection forms and assistance to the City to prepare <br />new claims that are approved by the CSM (Commission on State <br />Mandates) during the contract period where the minimum cost <br />threshold will be met. <br />6) Assist the City with mandated cost questions from the State <br />Controller’s Office. <br />7) Assist the City with desk reviews and/or field audits <br />WORKPLAN <br /> Consultant will: <br />Schedule at least one site visit per year to conduct meetings and <br />interviews with individual City departments and other interested <br />City staff affected by each mandate. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023/Amend.
